The image of membrane structures has changed over the past few years. Being no longer thought of as difficult to handle, membranes are now more and more used by planning companies. The development of new materials has meanwhile resulted in a wider range of application – besides their use on large roof surfaces, membranes are increasingly often employed as facade elements or envelopes for climatic regulation.
