Railway Expansion Joints

MAURER DB-Expansion Joints for 40, 80 and 130 mm movement are used in railway bridges.  A matting element serves for watertight accommodation of movements, the abrasion of traffic loads and the gapless support of the ballast substructure.
Anchorage and watertight connection to the steel edge construction is done via Aluminium clamping strips and prestressed bolts. MAURER DB-Expansion Joints are approved by the German Railway .

By connection in series you can even achieve larger movements.
