Noise Reduction

When crossing the expansion joints of road bridges impulse-like sounds are produced which are even intensified by unsteadiness of the surface running transverse to the driving direction.
MAURER Modular Expansion Joints can be successfully noise-reduced by welding on rhombic elements (system GO).
Noise radiation downwards can be dampened by closing the structural gap by means of a folding construction (system GU).
Both systems can be refitted.
