The worldwide highest vertical lift, one of the highest loops and the most superb video, light and sound technology - a roller coaster of the superlative kind is due to open in Orlando FL. Icy Challenge: The 20th Spinning Coaster

Maurer Söhne has taken on quite an icy challenge. The Munich-based roller coaster specialists are set to realize their 20th Spinning Coaster in the polar winter: The SC 3000 will see the light of day at Linnanmäki Amusement Park near Helsinki in Finland. As for the decision in favour of the Munich-based manufacturer, Park Director Risto Räikkönen gives a simple reason: "We have tested the Maurer Spinning Coaster and it convinced us in terms of quality, comfort and seating."
